Saturday "Killer Bee Group" Ride

Planing on doing the Wimberly/Fulton Ranch loop tomorrow. About 60 miles. Wheels down 8:15 from Gruene Coffie Shop. Audrey and I will be going at a B group pace ( because thats as fast as we can possibly go ) and wait at intersections for any stragglers. LONG LIVE THE KILLER BEES !!!

I wish I was fooling ! We were midpack for most of the ride then straggling for the last 10 miles. Several odomerters had it at 63 + - .

it's when you add the Lewis Loop that adds the extra 35 miles making it 100+

Going to ride the Spring Branch / Blanco loop on Saturday. Meeting at Nichols Landing, wheels down at 9:30. This is a beautiful route with lots of flowers, waterfall, views and lightly traveled back roads. We will stop in Blanco for a early light lunch. The route includes Ursch Rd. ( 4 miles of graded dirt ) , Edge Falls Rd, Crabapple Rd, Cooley Ln, Rocky Rd into Blanco. Then through the park and on to Kendalia Rd, Littlr Blanco Rd, Hwy 281 for one mile ( wide shoulder ), FM 471 for 5 miles then Old Sattler Rd into Spring Branch for a total of 62 miles ( yes Vic it's 62 !! ). We will regroup at intersections so everyone is welcome. THE KILLER BEES ARE ALIVE.......ALIVE I TELL YOU !!!

You were right last time. I learned my lesson - I won't cross odometers with you again! It sounds like a fantastic route - enjoy!!! I hope y'all have tailwind all day. :-)

To many people wearing the old kit that advertises for a bike shop that doesn’t support us, I believe we need to have a burning or the old WPC CRCT jersey or I can customize it for you.

Nice cross promotion, Murph. The new kits are feeling even better as the temperature heads higher.

And, I usually wouldn't advocate publicly piling on a LBS (and I won't, personally do so), but it's hard to muster a defense on
Jim's behalf. I just can't wrap my mind around this situation.....

Speaking of which, Murph has really out done himself with the retrofit design for the old kits. If he ever switched gears in regard to his career, it's obvious that he has a lucrative new path to follow in either clothing design or anti-marketing. CR should really take him up on his generous offer to modify the jerseys.
