Is ARR engaging Williamson County regarding the planning of Williams Tract?

Seems MTBers are specifically excluded from the future Garey Park, I am hoping the same will not happen with the Williams Tract. SW Regional Park has MTB trail in the plan, yet nothing has materialized.
Was wondering if ARR was involved in working with Wilco on the plans to include MTB single tract into Williams Tract.
I have sent a request for more information and updates to Wilco Parks and Rec.

There is a Board Meeting tonight. We'll be pretty busy with race preparations but I will ask about this project. I know our immediate past president, the incomparable Judi R., talked with them about a year ago so time for an update.

I read something on some wildflower site y'day, mention the word "passive" activies...not sure how camping, equestrian, RV camping our in the master plan, but biking isn't. Those activities aren't passive.

I remember ARR being engaged in input on the plan for that tract. We did have input on that one and I thought it has potential for some good trail. From what I recall, it must be that there are horse people with much more pull. I recall that we were very disappointed as you were with the result.
