saw this interesting video for the new Tallboy, https://vimeo.com/39572640, and the ad copy mentioned Wes Williams. Whatever happened to Wes? I don't believe his Austin shop is still open, is it?

He's here. He's building. The process of elimination in austin steel/ti fabricators should lead you to his whereabouts.
What he said. Wes's shop is no longer open.
"Oh, you DO know Betty Blackwell?"
Sucks james isn't building there anymore, really wanted a bike from him.

A funny Willits story. I was doing a guided mtb trip around Crested Butte a few years ago.
These trips are BYOB so I brought along some Shiner Bock.
One of the guides had gone on to camp and pulled out the cooler. I come rolling in and some guy who is not a part of our group is sucking down one of my Shiner's. It was Wes. He was a buddy of one of our guides and had rode in from Crested Butte for the night. He was a really interesting guy. And he got to enjoy another Shiner. It seemed random at the time to meet a guy from San Marcos who was living in Crested Butte.
Love my Willits!
I have an early Ibis that he welded.
Tobin, thanks for the Alchemy info.
I am lucky enough to have two. A Monster Cross and a Trail King. Hope to keep them forever.
